Provided are: a laminate film provided with a substrate film, which comprises a thermoplastic resin, and a polyvinyl alcohol resin layer formed by means of coating onto at least one surface of the substrate film, the substrate film having a tensile elasticity at 80°C of at least 140 MPa; a polarizing laminate film using the laminate film; and a method for producing a polarizing plate. Preferably, of the substrate film, the surface layer of at least the surface to which the polyvinyl alcohol resin film has been formed is configured from a crystalline thermoplastic resin having a crystallinity of at least 58%.
