The purpose of the present invention is to provide a hollow fiber membrane module capable of being suitably used in a separation, refinement, and continuous fermentation process for food or pharmaceutical products, and having excellent steam sterilization properties. The hollow fiber membrane module comprises: a cylindrical case having a cylindrical shape and a wall surface liquid duct hole in a wall surface thereof; a hollow fiber membrane bundle comprising a plurality of hollow fiber membranes; a bundling member that holds the hollow fiber membrane bundle and is held inside the cylindrical case; and a rectifier tube having a cylindrical shape, that is provided between the cylindrical case and the hollow fiber membrane bundle, connects to the bundling member, and has an outer peripheral surface facing the wall surface liquid duct hole. A first bag path configured by being surrounded by the bundling member, the cylindrical case, and the rectifier tube fulfills L2 / L1 <= 5.0, for a duct hole width (L1) and a depth (L2).
