PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technique which enables even a vehicle mounted unit not having sufficient memory capacity for storing whole data used for route guidance to use data to be used for the route guidance at appropriate timing.SOLUTION: A vehicle mounted system includes an information processing device and a vehicle mounted unit for providing route guidance. The information processing device includes a transmission unit which transmits first data that meets predefined criteria among data to be used for route guidance before route guidance is provided, and transmits second data that becomes an object to be used for route guidance among data except the first data from the data to be used for route guidance, when providing route guidance. The vehicle mounted unit includes a storage unit for storing the first data transmitted from the information processing device, and a route guidance unit for providing route guidance using the first data that is stored before providing route guidance and the second data transmitted when providing route guidance.
