PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct imbalance of I and Q signals with high accuracy and stability.SOLUTION: An IQ correction apparatus in an embodiment receives baseband I and Q signals obtained from a signal having a frame structure composed of a predetermined number of symbols and not modulated or modulated in a BPSK modulation scheme in a first period and modulated in another modulation scheme in a second period. The IQ correction apparatus includes an error detection part for detecting a gain error between the I signal and Q signal by detecting the I and Q signal amplitudes, a gain correction part for correcting the amplitudes of the I signal and Q signal so as to reduce the gain error detected by the error detection part, and a control part for detecting the first period and suspending the gain error detection by the error detection part during the first period. |
