PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bedsore detection device and method capable of easily and rapidly finding a bedsore without requiring expertise.SOLUTION: A bedsore detection device includes: a first detection part 122 having one or multiple moisture sensors to detect the moisture amount by putting detection surfaces on a body surface; and a second detection means arranged separately from the first detection means and having one or multiple moisture sensors to detect the moisture amount by putting detection surfaces on a body surface. The device calculates the difference between the moisture amount obtained by the first detection part 122 and the moisture amount obtained by the second detection part 121, and determines the bedsore risk indicating a probability that the region in which the detection surfaces of the moisture sensors arranged in the first detection part are put is a bedsore, based on the differential values. The bedsore detection device performs display 110 in order to notify the determined bedsore risk.
