PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine, using a specific metal-based cleaning agent for a high-performance base oil, and being excellent in fuel saving and heat resistance.SOLUTION: A lubricating oil composition for an internal combustion engine is composed of a mixture of: a base oil (A) of a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of ≤3.5 mm/s; and a base oil (B) of a mineral oil and/or a synthetic oil having a kinematic viscosity at 100°C of >3.5 mm/s, wherein the mixed base oil (AB) in which the proportion of the base oil (A) in the whole base oil is ≤40 mass% contains: 0.05 mass% to 0.5 mass% of a calcium salicylat-based cleaning agent (C) based on the total amount of the composition; and 0.002 mass% to 0.2 mass% of calcium sulfonate-based cleaning agent (D) based on the total amount of the composition. |
