PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a protective cover for a portable electronic apparatus, which is capable of achieving both excellent waterproof performance, and excellent visibility of a display unit.SOLUTION: The protective cover for a portable electronic apparatus is formed of an elastic material and includes a housing part having a shape corresponding to the outer shape of a portable electronic apparatus on which the protective cover for a portable electronic apparatus is to be mounted. The housing part has an opening for exposing a display unit of the portable electronic apparatus and an opening peripheral edge positioned at the peripheral edge of the opening. The elastic material has water absorbency.
