PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display panel with low cost, low power consumption, and long life.SOLUTION: In an organic EL display panel, pixel electrodes 2, organic light emission layers, hole injection layers 4, hole transport layers 5, an electron transport layer 10, and a counter electrode 11 are formed in a light emission display area on a translucent substrate 1, partition walls 3 are formed which define light emission areas corresponding to the pixel electrodes 2, and the organic light emission layers are caused to emit light by allowing current to flow from the pixel electrodes 2 and the counter electrode 11 to the organic light emission layers. The light emission display area is divided into red secondary pixels, green secondary pixels, and blue secondary pixels by the partition walls 3. A red organic light emission layer 6 is formed for each red secondary pixel, a green organic light emission layer 7 is formed for each green secondary pixel, and a first blue organic light emission layer 8 and a second blue organic light emission layer 9 are formed for each blue secondary pixel, with the second blue organic light emission layer 9 and the electron transport layer 10 being formed for the whole of the light emission display area. |
