PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL display device which has high reliability in display performance while utilizing moisture absorption capability of a silicon-containing polymer having water absorption properties such as a polysilazane.SOLUTION: An organic EL display device 1 includes a substrate 10, an organic EL element 20 formed on the substrate 10, a moisture absorbing layer 30 covering the organic EL element 20, a gas discharge member (gas discharge layer 41) provided in contact with the moisture absorbing layer 30, and a sealing member (sealing substrate 50) provided on the moisture absorbing layer 30. The moisture absorbing layer 30 contains a silicon-containing polymer having water absorption properties. |
