THERMOSETTING FURAN RESIN COMPOSITION AND FURAN RESIN LAMINATE USING SAME

Provided is a thermosetting furan resin composition which contains (A) a furan resin, (B) a curing catalyst and (C) an additive that is a normal salt composed of a strong acid and a strong base. It is preferable for the additive (C) to have a solubility in water at 20°C of 30 g/100 g H2O or more. In addition, the additive (C) is preferably at least one substance that is selected from the group consisting of sodium chloride, potassium chloride, lithium chloride, sodium bromide, potassium bromide, lithium bromide, sodium sulfate, potassium sulfate, lithium sulfate, sodium nitrate, potassium nitrate and lithium nitrate, or a mixture of two or more substances selected from the group. It is preferable that the additive (C) is contained in an amount of 0.2-10 parts by weight per 100 parts by weight of the furan resin (A).
