PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve both of prevention of a wrong operation and an efficient input.SOLUTION: An image formation device 1 including a main scanning device 5 forming an image on a record medium accompanied by an operation of a carriage 4 and a conveyance device 2 conveying the record medium comprises: an input part 8 that detects an input operation pertain to an operation of the image formation device 1. The input part 8 includes a touch panel 80 that functions as a first detection part detecting a contact or a depression (a first operation) with respect to a predetermined position and a second detection part detecting an operation (a second operation) continuously moving the contact position from a position serving as a start point to a position different from the start point and serving as an end point. Out of predetermined inputs, an input in which an operation of the image formation device 1 in accordance with an input to be performed to the input part 8 is accompanied by an operation of at least any one of the carriage 4 and the conveyance device 2 is detected by the second operation, and other input is detected by the first operation.
