PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for efficiently producing a desulfurized gaseous fuel, which is a simple system, and which uses an inexpensive desulfurization agent, excellent in desulfurization performance, and capable of holding the desulfurization performance over a long period.SOLUTION: A method for producing a desulfurized gaseous fuel includes bringing a gaseous fuel containing sulfur compounds into contact with a nickel-containing desulfurization agent. The nickel-containing desulfurization agent contains 50 to 85 mass% of nickel in terms of nickel oxide (NiO) based on the nickel-containing desulfurization agent. The method for producing a desulfurized gaseous fuel includes a step of bringing a gaseous fuel containing sulfur compounds into contact with the nickel-containing desulfurization agent at ≥200°C. |
