PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate a quick stop of distribution of data for version up (program for update) including a fault.SOLUTION: In response to an update request transmitted from a terminal device, a program for update that is requested is read from an update program storage unit and the program for update that is read is transmitted to the terminal device that is a transmission source of the update request. On the basis of whether fault information included in a fault notification transmitted from the terminal device that has executed the program for update is fault information caused by the program for update, it is determined whether to stop distribution of the program for update. When it is determined to stop distribution of the program for update in a determination step, transmission of the program for update in response to the update request is stopped.
