PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a PAPR in an OFDM system communication and control a degree of the reduction in the PAPR.SOLUTION: A communication apparatus includes: a sequence generation unit 12 for generating sub-data sequences by equally dividing any data sequence having an autocorrelation characteristic into the predetermined number of sequences; a modulation unit 11 for generating modulation data by multiplying each element of the sub-data sequences by a predetermined amplitude coefficient and by a unique number defined for each of the sub-data sequences, sorting the resulting values on the basis of a sorting rule corresponding to a data pattern of an input signal one-to-one, and combining the resulting values; an IFFT unit 13 for performing an inverse fast Fourier transform of the modulation data; an operation unit 14 for generating sub-operation results by equally dividing the operation result into the predetermined number of results, and performing an operation to multiply each element of the sub-operation results by an averaging coefficient defined for each of the sub-operation results; a combining unit 15 for generating a baseband signal by disposing the sub-operation results subjected to the above operation at the positions of when the sub-operation result is equally divided, and combining them; and a transmission unit 16 for generating a transmission signal, and transmitting the signal through an antenna 10. |
