MFI ZEOLITE HAVING UNIFORM MESOPORES AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

[Problem] To provide a novel MFI zeolite that can be used even in selective catalytic reactions targeting larger molecules when used as a catalyst, and a method for producing the novel MFI zeolite. [Solution] MFI zeolite endowed with the properties described in (i) to (iii): (i) having uniform mesopores having a pore distribution curve in which the half-value width of the peak is at most 20 nm and the center value of the maximum peak is 10 to 20 nm, and the pore volume is at least 0.05 mL/g; (ii) having no peak in the 0.1-3° range in powder x-ray diffraction measurement taking the diffraction angle to be 2theta; and (iii) having a mean particle size of at most 100 nm.
