The invention relates to a data input device of a motor vehicle, having a user interface (13) by means of which instructions can be input by touching, wherein the user interface (13) is embodied as a backwall projection element (1) which is arranged on a component which is fixed to the vehicle and has a translucent backwall projection surface (12). An image can be projected onto the rear side of said backwall projection element (1) by a projector (5) arranged at a distance from said backwall projection element (1), using an image-directing unit. Having feedback means for providing haptic feedback to a user who touches the user interface (13), by which feedback means the backwall projection element (1) can be driven in a laterally oscillating fashion on an oscillation path with respect to the component which is fixed to the vehicle. The position or acceleration of the image-directing unit can be detected by means of a sensor system, and corresponding information can be fed to a control unit by means of which the detected position or acceleration of the image-directing unit can be compared with the position of the acceleration of the backwall projection element (1) on its oscillation path (9), and by means of which, in the event of a deviation of the position or acceleration of the image-directing unit from a specific correlation position assigned to the image-directing unit or in the event of acceleration of the backwall projection element (1), the feedback means can be actuated in order to correlate the movement of the backwall projection element (1) in order to move the image-directing unit. |
