[Problem] To effectively verify packets flowing through a network. [Solution] A network system including a plurality of nodes and a verification node having greater processing power than the plurality of nodes, a transmission route for a second packet being constructed by transferring of a first packet between the plurality of nodes, wherein the verification node has a communication unit for transmitting a third packet including an identifier indicating that the verification node is a verification node to at least some of the plurality of nodes, and a verification unit for verifying the authenticity of the second packet when the second packet is received from the plurality of nodes by the communication unit, and each of the plurality of nodes has a communication unit for receiving the first packet from the other nodes and receiving the third packet from the verification node, and a control unit for determining the transmission destination of the second packet from among the verification node and the other nodes on the basis of the first packet and the third packet.
