<p>An endoscopic device (1) comprises: a light source device (4) that irradiates a subject with at least one illuminating light having a prescribed wavelength band; an imaging element (2) that images the light returning from the subject on the basis of the irradiation from the light source device (4); a video processor (7); and an observation monitor (5). On the basis of the difference between a first image signal (NL1) which has a spectral characteristic peak wavelength between a wavelength band including the maximum value in the absorption characteristic of body tissue and a wavelength band at the minimum value, and a second image signal (NL2) which has a spectral characteristic peak having a lower value in the absorption characteristic than the first image signal (NL1) and in which the scattering characteristic of the body tissue is suppressed, the video processor (7) implements processing to enhance the first image signal (NL1), and generates an image signal that has undergone enhancement correction.</p> |
