<p>A loudspeaker comprises a frame [20], a movable diaphragm [10] positioned internal to the frame [20] and connected thereto, a circumferential voice coil [40] mounted on the diaphragm [10], and, a plurality of magnets [50] circumferentially spaced apart around the frame [20]. The provision of a plurality of magnets [50] causes an increased magnetic flux in comparison to standard loudspeaker systems provided with a single large diameter magnet, permitting the use of loudspeakers of significantly less depth than traditional loudspeakers.</p> |
