<p>The invention relates to a method for determining the estimated weight of an aircraft at a selected determination time, including: determining (21) a first weight of the aircraft from characteristics of the aircraft determined before or during takeoff; determining (41), while the aircraft is in flight, a second weight of the aircraft from an equation for the lift of the aircraft that expresses the weight of the aircraft on the basis of information representing the load factor of the aircraft, a lift coefficient of the aircraft, information on the speed of the aircraft, and the static pressure of an air mass through which the aircraft is passing, which are determined from measurements of sensors of the aircraft during the flight of the aircraft; and evaluating (39), at said determination time, the estimated weight on the basis of said first and second weights.</p> |
