PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact current sensor with a magneto-electric transducer, which is easily mounted and uses existing current lines.SOLUTION: A current sensor 10 detects current flowing through a current line 3 extending along a first direction. The current sensor 10 includes a magnetic shield 1 having a magnetic member with a through hole that extends along the first direction, and a magneto-electric transducer 2 which is located in the through hole to detect magnetic field induced by current flowing through the current line 3. The magnetic member has an air gap 12 extending along the first direction formed on a side face thereof. The current sensor 10 is positioned such that the current line is located on the air gap 12 side with respect to the magneto-electric transducer 2 and inside the outer periphery of the magnetic member. |
