PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an axial gap vernier brushless motor that has magnets arranged in both a rotor and a stator and that is made thinner while providing high torque at low speed.SOLUTION: Rotor magnets 14 are arranged in rotor slots 12 that are formed in a rotor core 10 and extend radially. Stator magnets 27 are arranged in stator slots 24 that are formed in a stator core 20 and extend radially. Thus, large magnetic flux is generated in an axial direction. In a lower surface 10b of the rotor core 10, surfaces 14a of the rotor magnets 14 are flush with surfaces 13a of pseudo salient poles 13. In an upper surface 20b of the stator core 20, surfaces 27a of the stator magnets 27 are flush with surfaces 25a of teeth 25. The lower surface 10b and the upper surface 20b are arranged parallel and opposite to each other. Thus, an axial gap brushless motor is provided that is thin and provides high torque at low speed. |
