PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance flow rate characteristics in a low opening and suppressing an operation failure due to the deposition of a combustion products in a low exhaust gas recirculation valve.SOLUTION: A disk-shape valve 14 couple to a shaft 34 is arranged in a body 12 constituting an exhaust gas recirculation valve 10 and the valve 14 has a first planar surface part 42 facing a gas flow inlet 20 when the valve is closed. The first planar surface part 42 has a diameter larger than that of a communication hole 28 of the valve seat 16 on which the valve 14 sits and is arranged in a position becoming a communication chamber 24 side where the valve 14 is arranged to an end part of the communication hole 28. |
