The invention concerns a method for acquiring the coordinates of a triggering point (P) of a projectile (4) over a portion of land (1) on which a target (5a, 5b, 5c) is located, said method being characterised in that it comprises the following steps: three-dimensional acquisition of the portion of land (1) using a laser observation means (7), construction, by calculation, then displaying of an image of the portion of land (1) from a bird's-eye view (S2), positioning, on the image, of an area of effectiveness (16) of the projectile (4) when it is triggered, retrieval of the coordinates of the desired triggering point (P) of the projectile (4) after the positioning of said area (16) on the image of the land. The invention also concerns a fire control implementing such a method. |
