<p>The objective of the present invention is to minimize image quality degradation in a captured image even when a manufacturing error in the fitting accuracy of a mold and so forth occurs. The image pickup lens includes an optical lens (L4) which has an optical surface (S9) having a general form of a concave part (11a) near an optical axis (La) and a convex part (11b) that is a reverse shape of the concave part (11a) near the optical axis (La) in the periphery thereof. In the optical surface (S9), when the vertex of the concave part (11a) near the optical axis (La) is set to be the origin (O), the direction of the optical axis (La) is set to be the Z-axis, and the direction orthogonal to the Z-axis is set to be the H-axis, the coordinates (Zt, Ht) of the vertex (T) of the convex part (11b) in the periphery satisfies the condition of 6.8 <= | Ht / Zt | <= 10.0.</p> |
