The card (2) has two transparent films (12, 14) arranged on two sides of a core (8) and covering a side of a valuable object. The valuable object is located in a central area of a through-aperture (4) and embedded in transparent resin (10) that is completely filled in an area peripheral to the valuable object and between the object and contour of the through-aperture such that a space remaining in the aperture around the valuable object is completely filled by the resin. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a card. |
