The thermoplastic lid has seal portion (18) that is pressed against the sealing surface (15) of the opening edge (14) of the container portion (12). A U-shaped clamping ring (11) is provided onto the container portion. A cladding flange (13) is placed in spacing below the barrel top and the sealing surface, at clamping ring. The cladding flange is engaged with the opening edge or outer edge (22) via a thread portion. The seal portion is axially connected to the outer edge of rotationally symmetrical horizontal seal retaining edge (34) in the lid portion.
