DIMENSIONALLY STABLE POLYESTER TIRE CORD AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

PURPOSE: A polyester tire code with an excellent dimensional stability and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve a fatigue resistance as a high temperature modulus (EASL) improves 20% or more, to reduce weight of a tire when applied to an actual tire, and to improve flatspot. CONSTITUTION: A polyester tire code with an excellent dimensional stability twines a polyester yarn and performs a dipping-process. A crystallinity of the dipping-processed polyester is 52% or greater. A crystal size of the dipping-processed polyester is 55 to 60 Å on a surface (010) and an interval of the crystal is 155 Å or greater when measured by using an optical angle X-ray diffraction. E-S of the dipping-processed polyester is 4.7% or less.
