<p>Disclosed is an assembly 10 of a first slip conveyor 50, and a second slip conveyor 50 which may be in a plurality of segments, the first conveyor 50 having a delivery portion 57 to the second slip conveyor 50, with a plurality of slots 58, with transverse widths which increase in the direction of feed of the first conveyor 50. The slots 58 may provide for a number of separate products streams, small medium and large for example, of items such as potato crisps, spread across the width of the second conveyor 50, aligned to fall into corresponding differently sized gaps 26a,b,c, which may lead via further conveyors 62 to packing and weighing machines 53. As such the apparatus may allow the provision of a number of differently sized products into differently sized bags.</p> |
