A pyrene derivative represented by the following formula (1); wherein R 1 to R 10 are independently a hydrogen atom, a substituted or unsubstituted aryl group, a substituted or unsubstituted alkyl group, a substituted or unsubstituted cycloalkyl group or a group represented by the following formula (2), at least one of R 1 to R 10 is a group represented by the following formula (2) and at least two of R 1 to R 10 are substituted or unsubstituted aryl group. Provided that in the case where only one of R 1 to R 10 is a group represented by the following formula (2), at least one of the substituted or unsubstituted aryl groups is an aryl group having 10 to 50 carbon atoms.
