The method involves providing an electromotive actuator and a secondary actuator. The control of the secondary actuator is performed in dependence on temperature variable which represents the temperature of the electric motor (3) of the electromotive actuator. The secondary actuator is a hydraulic or pneumatic brake device. The control of the secondary actuator is performed, when the electric motor works in operational phase of driving operating under load. An independent claim is included for regulating and/or control device for controlling parking brake.
