FERMENTED SNAIL EXTRACT AND ITS COSMETIC USAGE

PURPOSE: A cosmetic composition containing a fermented snail extract is provided to enhance an antioxidative activity and collagen generation and to suppress MMP-1, thereby improving an anti-wrinkling effect. CONSTITUTION: A cosmetic composition contains 0.001-95 wt% of a fermented snail extract. The cosmetic composition for improving skin elasticity and skin moisturizing, whitening, and anti-wrinkling effects contains the fermented snail extract which is prepared by fermenting a snail extract with one or more among Bacillus subtilis, lactic acid bacteria, and yeast.
