[Class 144 (i)] A detachable road tread for the wheel of a land tractor comprises an annulus 3 of at least the same depth as that of the projecting wheel spuds or spade lugs 2 on the rim 1 of the tractor wheel which annulus is formed in segments, each with right-angle lugs 3a bolted to the rim 1. The segments may be of tapered section, narrower at the outer circumference and may be formed with side ribs 3b.
