The method involves arranging multiple shaped bricks (1) in to a brick layer, and lifting upward a set of the bricks for providing a free access for shaped body edges of the lifted bricks, where the bricks are made of cementetious material such as concrete. A resilient or spring-loaded machining tool is simultaneously moved along a travel path over peripheral, top and bottom surfaces (1.1-1.3) of the shaped bricks such that the machining tool is inclined to the shaped body edges of the bricks at an angle less than 90 degrees. The processed bricks are lowered. An independent claim is also included for a device for processing shaped bricks.
