<p>A battery system is provided in which generated surplus power is efficiently used and stable power can be supplied to an electrical system. The battery system includes plural battery modules (30) each including plural battery cells (20), a resistor (4), a cooler (5) to cool the plural battery modules (30), and a control unit (230) to control currents flowing through the cooler (5) and the resistor (4). The control unit (230) increases power consumption of the cooler (5) and further increases power consumption of the resistor (4) if a state of charge of the battery system (201) is equal to or more than an upper limit value of a usable state of charge, and power is charged to the battery system (201).</p> |
