<p>The invention relates to a guiding element designed and provided for laterally guiding a transport chain, which can travel through curves and which defines a horizontal transport plane, in conveying and/or storage devices of the tobacco-processing industry, comprising a carrier element having at least two guiding rollers (15) arranged on the carrier element, which guiding rollers are individually supported on a shaft body (17) so as to be freely rotatable about a rotational axis (D) extending perpendicularly to the transport plane (E), wherein jacket surfaces (16) of the guiding rollers (15) are designed as guiding surfaces for interacting with a lateral surface of the transport chain, which is characterized in that each guiding roller (15) has a collar-shaped limiting edge (18) on an end face, the diameter of said limiting edge being greater than the diameter of the guiding rollers (15) in the area of the guiding surfaces, wherein adjacent guiding rollers (15) have the limiting edges (18) thereof on opposite sides and are arranged nested in each other in such a way that the distance (A) of the shaft bodies (17) from rotational axis (D) to rotational axis (D) is less than the diameter of the guiding rollers (15) in the area of the guiding surfaces. The invention further relates to a conveying and/or storage device having such a guiding element.</p> |
