[Class 52 (ii)] in a forwardly and rearwardly adjustable seat of the type used in vehicles and wherein the seat frame is carried by front and rear links 22, 23 pivoted to the floor, the front of the seat is progressively raised as the seat is moved forwards. For this purpose the front links are provided with toothed sectors 26, Fig. 2, meshing in slots 29 in inclined portions of transverse bearers 20. A notched locking-lever 42 carried by an intermediate bearer 21 holds the seat frame in its adjusted position. |
