PURPOSE: A thermoelectric generator for a vehicle is provided to facilitate thermoelectric generation through accumulated exhaust heat in a heat storage material in a driving condition where waste heat of exhaust gas is sufficient because a third tube for storing the heat storage material is installed between a thermoelectric module and a second tube. CONSTITUTION: A thermoelectric generator for a vehicle comprises a thermoelectric module (100), a first tube (200), a second tube (300), a third tube (400), a pair of a first header tank (510) and a second header tank (520), a second inflow unit (610), and a second exhaust unit (620). The first tube is installed in one side of the thermoelectric module, and has a first inflow unit (210) into which cooling water flows and a first exhaust unit (220) from which the cooling water is discharged. The second tube is installed in the other side of the thermoelectric module and allows exhaust gas to flow. The third tube is installed in between the thermoelectric module and the second tube and stores a heat storage material inside. The pair of the first header tank and second header tank is fixed to both ends of the second tube in order to communicate exhaust gas. The second inflow unit is formed in the first header tank and receives exhaust gas which flows in. The second exhaust unit is formed in the second header tank and discharges exhaust gas. |
