The dental prosthesis (1) comprises a base body (11) made of a material and a cover layer (12) made of another material. The cover layer is arranged on a partial area (125) of the base body. The rigidity of the latter material is less than the rigidity of the former material, and the cover layer has a thickness of less than one millimeter. An intermediate layer made of third material is arranged between the cover layer and the base body, where the rigidity of the third material is greater than the rigidity of the latter material. The materials are made of metal, alloy, ceramic or plastic.
