PURPOSE: A vehicle operation system and a control method thereof are provided to block electricity supplied to a battery in order not to perform additional charging once the battery is fully charged and to prevent degradation of the battery as the electricity generated from a generation module is all consumed by a fan. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle operation system comprises a generation module (120), a battery (101), a battery managing unit (120), and a cooling unit (130). The generation module generates electricity. The battery is charged using the electricity generated from the generation module. The battery managing unit controls charge of the battery. The cooling unit cools the battery. The battery managing unit blocks the electricity supplied to the battery when the battery is fully charged. The cooling unit consumes the electricity generated from the generation unit once the electricity supplied to the battery is blocked by the battery managing unit.
