The control unit (102) has a sensor unit (108) receiving signals from sensors (106). The sensor unit is formed to send the signals to a processing unit (110). The processing unit is formed to provide information about the signals to an encryption apparatus (104). The information is signaled such that a movement of the encryption apparatus and/or an effect of a mechanical and/or electromagnetic force occur on the encryption apparatus. The information is formed such that the encryption apparatus introduces measures relative to protection of data. The sensors are motion sensors, light sensors and/or noise sensors.
