<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner container which decreases soiling by toner when it is replaced, and also does not give an unpleasant feeling to a user, because toner stored in a toner receiving part which receives toner dropping from a shutter member of the toner container is not seen by the user, and to provide an image forming apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: The toner receiving part 85 which receives the toner adhering to the shutter member of the toner container 32Y and dropping with separating operation in a longitudinal direction is provided in an image forming apparatus body 60Y.
