PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for reserved transmission of non-real-time content in a heterogeneous network environment are provided to enable a mobile terminal user or a server operator to set a transmission option for non-real-time content through a concept of reserved transmission. CONSTITUTION: An input/output unit (601) receives an input of a transmission reservation option from a mobile terminal user or a server operator, periodically receives information on accessible networks and data transmission rates from a mobile terminal, and transmits content. An operation unit (602) performs scheduling of data transmission through a currently accessible network based on the inputted transmission reservation option, and the received information on accessible networks and data transmission rates. A data storage unit (603) receives and stores data from the input/output unit, and delivers the stored data to the input/output unit.
