The static mixer (1) has an input-sided admixing device (3) and a downstream mixing device for mixing two or multiple fluid components with different specific gravities, different consistencies and different compressibilities. Two vertical strands (4) are provided, in which the mixing elements (5,8) are arranged, which passes through the mixture. The two strands are connected with each other by a 180 degrees pipe bend (6). The admixing device is connected with the former strand by an easily detachable flange coupling (11). An independent claim is included for a method for manufacturing foamed concrete from cement mash, additives, water and finished foam using a static mixer.
