PURPOSE: A compressor system controlling method for preventing a surge and a compressor system are provided to flexibly change a surge control line according to a system and an operating order, thereby suppressing a serge phenomenon generated in a compressor as much as possible. CONSTITUTION: A method for controlling a compressor system (100) includes the following steps of: calculating a change rate of a variable determining a performance curve of a compressor (140) according to time; determining the change rate of the variable is out of a predetermined change rate range or not; and calculating a surge control line according to the change rate of the variable when the change rate of the variable is out of the predetermined change rate range.
