FABRICATION OF MICROPARTICLES BY SWELLING OF REPLICA MOLD

摘要

PURPOSE: A manufacturing method of a polymer microparticle is provided to not need the accurate control of the experiment conditions such as required flux in a method using microfluidic and to manufacture a polymer microparticle with a complex structure with high monodispersity by a simple method. CONSTITUTION: A manufacturing method of a polymer microparticle using a monomer and a solvent which is not miscible with the monomer comprises a step of filling the monomer in a replica mold; a step of applying the solvent, of which the wettability to the replica mold is higher than that of the monomer, the density is lower than that of the monomer, and satisfies -0.5 < solubility variable < the solubility variable of the replica mold +4.5, to the upper side of a microwell in which the monomers are filled; and a step of polymerizing the polymer monomer.
