Biaxially stretched polyester film having a thickness of 10-50 mm, which is less than 2.42 (preferably more than 1) wt.% and having a transparency of less than 8%, preferably less than 1 wt.%, comprises carbon black, and at least one outer layer A that contains the carbon black of less than 0.5 wt.%, where the outer layer A has a gloss at 60-70[deg] C, and a thickness of 0.4-7 mu m, and carbon black comprises polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons of less than 0.5 parts per million and benzo(a)pyrene of less than 5 parts per billion.
