PURPOSE: An arcade game score management system using an electronic tag and a method thereof are provided to increase the accuracy and convenience of game machine management. CONSTITUTION: An electronic tag is issued to an arcade game user and stores member information including score information of the user and tag information about the tag. An arcade game machine authenticates the user by reading the member information and the tag information from the tag, provides an arcade game to the authenticated user, and stores score information generated through the execution of the game in the electronic tag.
