PURPOSE: An edge dam of a twin roll strip caster is provided to form the thin corresponding section to a molten pool even if a sealing plate and refractory are thick. CONSTITUTION: An edge dam of a twin roll strip caster comprises edge dam refractory(110) and a concave part(130). The edge dam refractory comprises sealing plate(120) corresponding to a pair of casting rollers. The edge dam refractory seals a molten pool. The sealing plate directly contact with a side surface of the pair of casting rollers. The concave part is formed on an outer surface of the edge dam refractory corresponding to a vertical section of the molten pool. Left and right edges of the concave part are placed in the area corresponding to the sealing plate. |
