PURPOSE: A mobile terminal is provided to eliminate the need of installing a separate ground shield to improve sensor directivity, thereby enabling the internal space of a terminal to be utilized more efficiently. CONSTITUTION: A terminal body is equipped with a display at one side. A proximity sensor (301) is installed at the inside of the terminal. The proximity sensor detects the approach of an object. The proximity sensor is mounted to be close to the one side. The proximity sensor detects the approach of an object toward the one side. A sensing reduction pattern, which reduces the inflow of noise through one edge side of the terminal body, is formed at the one edge side. |
